Photographing Crows

Hi Everyone,

For the past several months I've been playing a cat and mouse game
with my crow friends. They usually congregate near the oak tree and
field area in front of the kitchen window. As a result, I've been
taking photos from my kitchen window.

It's been quite a game! Excellent sight enable the crows to detect
my presence near the window -- they seem to enjoy flying away just
as I'm about to take a photo.

Now, I simply approach the window, and snap the photos without
trying to frame them in advance. Occasionally, it works well, and
I'm able to capture an interesting crow picture.

I'll be back soon and post a few of those photos.

All the best,
Laurie

Hello Laurie!

I found you through Blogrush. I'm a fellow-Canadian and my mother hails from Glace Bay in Cape Breton. When I saw the name Nova Scotia, I had to check you out!

Please stop by my blog Poetikat's Invisible Keepsakes and have nose around. You might like my "Scraps of Me" poem in particular, but I write about all sorts of things.

I will put you in my links and would be pleased if you choose to do the same.

Have a good day!

Kat
